Spring Fling seamless modern printed pattern fabric textures

Modern and fresh “Spring Fling” …..It’s about time spring arrived, sunny one day, grey skies the next…..I want more than a fling ;)

So it is thanks to wishful thinking and hoping the spring air lasts and to Kao Sands’ (itutu) black chandelier (as seen in the photo below) for the inspiration.

I thought the chandelier needed a special room, something fresh and contemporary, to break away from the grungy, distressed look for a while,  so I set about creating a texture pack that had a modern shabby chic feel that could be used as fabric and wallpaper.

After playing around in illustrator for a while I had a few seamless patterns and colour palettes that I liked but to give it a more block printed fabric look the flowers were “roughed up” a bit in photoshop.

So what are you waiting for ….grab some fresh air and have a “Spring Fling” today ;)
